Founded in 1970 by Francis “Frank” Ryan, the firm began as Rossi & Ryan before evolving into Ryans Law Offices. After more than 50 years at our much-loved Brunswick Road premises, the firm relocated just 800 metres away to our new Nicholson Street, North Fitzroy office, a modern space that reflects the same community spirit and client-focused philosophy that has guided us since the beginning.

As an independent boutique law firm, Ryans Law Offices is built on strong values of honesty, expertise, and personal service. Our founder, Frank Ryan, has over 50 years of legal experience and is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Business Law. He is widely respected for his practical wisdom, ethical approach, and for mentoring generations of young solicitors throughout his career. Among those mentored by Frank is our Principal Solicitor, Aisha Sahinbas, who now leads the firm. Aisha is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates and has extensive experience across civil litigation, building disputes, commercial leasing, and debt recovery. She is deeply committed to client care, accessibility, and social justice, values that form the cornerstone of the firm’s modern practice.
